Join us on June 4 at 3:00pm for a live conversation about humor in a time of conflict with three talented comedians: Paul Feig (“Bridesmaids”, “Spy”, “A Simple Favor”), Maz Jobrani (“Superior Donuts”, “Immigrant”), and Aparna Nancherla (“Corporate”, “CRASHING”).

The Impact of Crisis on NYC: Why Conflict Resolution Matters: May 26, 2021, at 5:30 PM, New York Peace Institute will host a discussion on the impact of the pandemic, social and political unrest, and other recent events on New York City. We will be joined by four New York City experts who will discuss their individual experiences and share their perspectives on how NYC can move forward. Panelists include:

  • Tajae Gaynor, Director, Westchester & Rockland Mediation Centers, CLUSTER;
  • Meg Reiss, Chief of Social Justice, Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office; Brittny Saunders, Deputy Commissioner for Strategic Initiatives at the NYC Commission on Human Rights; and
  • Jeff Thompson, Ph.D., Adjunct Associate Research Scientist at the Molecular Imaging and Neuropathology Division of the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia University Medical Center
