New York Peace Institute to Host Post-Election Community Event
GRAPPLING WITH ELECTION RESULTS?
Join New York Peace Institute on November 13, 2024, for a Post-Election Community Building Event
Whether you are interested in building community, or would simply like to find a place to discuss and process after this week’s election results, New York Peace Institute welcomes you to join this Community Building Circle Event.
We hope you will join us on November 13th at Trinity Commons (76 Trinity Pl., New York, NY 10006) in Parish Hall for the third and final installment of our Freedom to Speak: Community Building Circle Series Events. This series has fostered a space for community dialogue and connection through the power of the circle process, and explores conflict, the ways in which it can stymie critical conversation, and how to maintain relationships across divides.
During this timely event, our circles will focus on the November 5th elections, providing an opportunity for participants to share emotions and reactions to the election results and prepare participants to address this potentially challenging topic, as we head into holiday season.
To register for the event click here, and for any questions or follow up, please feel free to contact us: gknight@nypeace.org
Now more than ever is the right time to find community and work towards navigating challenging conversations.
The final Circle will take place November 13, 2024, at
Trinity Commons in Parish Hall.
You must register in advance to attend this event, which is open to the public.
Light refreshments will be served.
We Hope To See You There!
